Annual Building Levy

All families with one or more children in a Parramatta Diocesan school are required to pay the annual Diocese of Parramatta Diocesan Building Levy.

The levy for 2015 is $702 per family, payable in three equal instalments of $234 payable in terms one, two and three.

The money collected from the levy is paid into a fund from which building costs and loan repayments for these schools are paid. The levy is not tax deductible.

School Resource Fee

A school resource fee is charged every year which covers all the books/paper/resources that each child needs for the year.

During the year each class goes on one excursion and payment for this is also included in the resource fee. During the year the school invites groups for excursions e.g. CSIRO, Drama and Music groups etc.  These are usually funded by the school or by generous donations from outside.

There are very significant discounts for the second (25% reduction) and third (50% reduction) children enrolled from the one family. There are no fees for the fourth and subsequent school children. In addition to the tuition fees there is a school levy towards building and maintenance programs in diocesan schools.

Further Information

Catholic schools aim to keep their fees as low as possible and can provide flexible payment arrangements for families.

Students who meet enrolment criteria will not be refused enrolment because of a families’ genuine inability to afford school fees.  If the one reason why you hesitate to send your child to Holy Family is your inability to pay fees, please make an appointment with the Principal before making your decision.

Contact the school by email or phone on 9628 9232 during business hours to learn more about fees.
